bookworm

As an avid fan of Dan Brown, i make sure that i am able to read most of his books. And one of which is "The Lost Symbol"...
One lazy morning, before i have opened the cover page of this book, i noticed my camera on the top of my bed. Thus, i was tempted to take some photos before reading the book. Out of curiosity on how the photo would turn out if i will just focus the engraved title of the book, i clicked the shutter. Fortunately, i was able to take a good shot, resulted to a shallow depth of field. I have captured, just exactly what i wanted. The focus is the foreground and the background became blurred... Having satisfied with what i have seen, i then flipped the pages and started reading...
Now, going back to Dan Brown, and his books, i could say he is indeed a good writer! "The Lost Symbol" is worth reading for! :)

waterglass

ISO: 1600
Shutter Speed:1/1000
Aperture: F4.5

What makes me like this photo is that I took this out of boredom and I have never expected that it would turn out this way. It was raining then, when i decided to take a picture of the raindrop dripping from our gutter. Having a little knowledge about photography, i set the shutter speed faster that it may be able to capture the raindrop, adjusted the ISO to brighten the image and the aperture so that it won't be underexposed. Viola! i was able to catch with my very own camera lens the image of the raindrop just exactly right in time as it landed on the ground! weeeh..!
